The IJHF Board of Directors announced at the fall meeting that the 50th annual induction ceremony will move from April to Oct. 24, 2015.
The date change allows the board working with IU Journalism colleagues to develop additional programming with speakers, seminars and special events. The ceremony will remain in Bloomington, but the change from April to October means avoiding crowds on campus for the spring rituals of Little 500 and commencement.
Complete details of this expanded celebration will be announced in the spring along with the Class of 2015 inductees.
The change also means a new nomination deadlines of April 1. All of the instructions are online.
Past inductees and those interested in the recognition of outstanding journalism are welcome to make suggestions for the program via email to Larry Taylor, IJHF executive director.
